After the cancelation of The Chosen Ones, A Vigilante was born. With time running out before graduation, Andrew alongside his theater friends from Sonora High School created a short story about a superhero who only posseses one power. Dread.
In 2022, Comms City crime rates are at an all time high. Thugs and dealers run the streets throughout the bright days and the dark nights. In 2019, Andrew’s childhood friend, Oscar Castro, died from street thug violence. With the city protected by corrupt cops, Andrew takes responsibility into his own hands and becomes the Vigilante. Despite Andrew’s dad being a cop, he doesn’t believe his dad is doing enough to help the city. A transfer student, Elizabeth, enters a new school and is informed immediately by a student aid, Jullie, about a vigilante saving the people of the city. Interested, Elizabeth wants to know who this Vigilante guy is. Elizabeth’s dad, Officer Vasquez, is new to the city as well and doesn’t believe the Vigilante should be doing his job for him and should give up the act. The Vigilante, along with his tech savvy partner, Ezekiel, are up against a new serial killer in town, The Voodoo. Using a dice to determine his next victims, the Vigilante must find the Voodoo before terror ensues throughout the city:
